犠牲になった仲間、入江（兄）

二人の確執は、3年前にさかのぼります。

彼らの乗った潜水艦の事故で、仲間の一人が犠牲となったのです。

艦長海江田の迅速な判断で、他のクルーと潜水艦は無事でした。

しかし、仲間を犠牲にする判断を、迷いなく行った海江田に深町は憤ります。

Their feud dates back three years.

One of their fellow crew members was killed in an accident on the submarine they were on.

Thanks to the quick decision of captain Kaieda, the rest of the crew and the submarine were unharmed.

However, Fukamachi resents Kaieda’s decision to sacrifice a fellow crew member without hesitation.

 

海江田が冷たい人間ではない事は分かっていました。

しかし、海江田の完璧さに、人の暖かさを感じれなかったからです。

それでありながら、誰よりも海江田が優秀であることも知っていました。

He knew Kaieda was not a cold-hearted man.

But he could not feel the warmth of people because of Kaieda’s perfection.

Yet, he also knew that Kaieda was better than anyone else.

複雑な人間模様が絡み合い、

政治が絡み合い、

潜水艦バトルが始まり、

海江田の思惑も謎のまま。

ここで重要なのが、

「核を保持、非保持」という言葉は、

実際に「ある・なし」を実は明確に証明する必要はないのです。

日本のように、非核を憲法として宣言している国は別です。

しかし、世界はその言葉を巧みに使って政治を行い、バランスを保っているのです。

The key here is,

The words “nuclear or non-nuclear” are not actually clear,

It is not necessary to clarify whether a country really has or does not have nuclear weapons.

Except in countries like Japan, which has a non-nuclear constitution.

Countries around the world use ‘the word’ cleverly in their politics to maintain balance.
